All is well .  " Things Are Different Here "  is getting noticed.
KDHX 88.1fm  in St. Louis has offered their listening audience
2 of the new album's tracks during this past month. I want to personally
thank the radio programmers who've shown interest and aired our new music.

Currently, promotion of the new album is in full swing.
The promotion campaign will be ongoing for the rest of the year.
Radio stations in Denver / Boulder along with Salt Lake City ,
and Phoenix are on the radar. Independent record labels must compete
in the music  market , and a strategy in marketing research is essential.
Luckily there is a marketing genius on board, and I expect assistance in the
process towards completing  our lofty goals!

I hope that this Fall season is going well for you.
Things are good with me, and our new release on mongomon.

A couple of the album's tracks have been on the air in St. Louis, Mo.
I have mailed new discs to Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis for retail sale
and we hope " Things Are Different Here " sells out of the racks, so that
another batch could be shipped before the upcoming holiday season.

LATE S e p t e m b e r

I performed a live set of some of the new originals
tonight at the Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas .
The new material went over well and after
"How Much  How Far " I even got a couple of cheers
and whistles of approval. WOW ! audience response that's positive.

 Happy post - lunar   eclipse  everybody.
Tamara and I sat at the 4,771 ft. mark at Red Rock National Conservation Area ,
and even though the majority of the evening was cloudy, at just before 8pm
the Blood Moon was reveled for about 10 mins.
We  watched the return of  the " regular " looking moon, as it was
moving out of the eclipse phase. Our experience was positive in viewing such
a unique moment in history of  earth.

All is well at mongomon , as we await the arrival of physical cd s.
Discs should be arriving in a few days.

I like to keep the calendar version of the season's
changes in mind when declaring " beginning of or Ending of "
maybe just because Midwest seasons overlap in climate conditions.
These dates > Fall Equinox , Winter Solstice , Spring Equinox,, Summer Solstice
vary during the full year of 365 days.

We move with the always changing weather.
I have always loved the Fall. Beautiful long shadows and golden
sunsets as Summer says goodbye until next year.

We are extremely busy at mongomon with the finishing touches.
This recording project is 2 years in the making.
There are always unexpected twists and turns.
There are usually unexpected delays in most production projects.

The 6th album ( EP ) of TW originals will be available to you on Sept. 15.

Professionally, I've been a musician and singer-songwriter for 4 decades.
This is my new work, which has been a long time in the making. I was fortunate enough
to capture some  inspiration during the " super moon " of summer 2014, and  lucky
enough to transfer that energy and inspiration into songwriting.

I am thankful for the professionalism and dedication of the  entire production team at mongomon.
Our new EP is a labor of love.

J U L Y IS NEARLY GONE !

 G  R  E   E    T   I  N  G  S    !

I know summer is a favorite of most people.
I prefer the long mellow  light we all experience during
the Fall Season ,  to the direct sunrays of the months
June , July, and August.  Early sunsets in Oct. and Nov. are
inevitable, and it will "shorten" daylight hours : I am just partial to
Autumn, in all it's glory.

This month has flown by so quickly, for me, mostly
due to a busy job / work  schedule.
A bit of current info, I shall share with you my friends;
is the fact that my old bandmates from Home Grown Harvest Band
have decided that we should all come together one more time to
perform a reunion concert next year, sometime during September 2016!
This should be a highlight during the coming year.

The recording project is alive and well.
LK and I are working on finishing the final mixes.
I am excited about the new EP . All is well . . .

S O L S T I C E G R E E T I N G S !

Hello  Friends -

We heard a band last night called " The Nth Degree "
and both of us were extremely  impressed by their show.
Nikki Glaspie  holds down some incredibly solid beats / grooves
and her cohort in the rhythm section on bass, just blew me away.
Really solid performance by their lead vocalist , guitarist as well.
After their set, ( opening for  Orgone ) we briefly met the keyboardist
and percussionist ( both hail from Stl. ) speaking about old haunts such
as Ted Drewes  and Tower Grove Park. A really fun night for Tam and me.

J U N E GREETINGS !

Hello Friends.

The new single " He Does it for the Dogs "  is receiving regional radio airplay
in and around the St. Louis Mo. area.
We wish to thank those of you who've already purchased the song online through

new single to their audience.  I feel encouraged to continue with  the time and energy
it takes to accomplish a result which feels satisfying. I must wear many different " hats"
in the process of recording, and releasing new music successfully.

Every day is a good day, just that some days you can seem
to accomplish more than usual.

I am Thankful, and my energy is returning.
There is still much to do in finishing the current
album project, where we have been productive
as of late ; and although many more hours will be invested,
I  am  confident that the end result will be worth every minute.

 I am very busy these days.
Time moves so quickly  when working all the time.
I am sleep depraved  .  I like to sleep, and recharge  the
battery, mainly due to the fact that I always " burn " hot.
Natural body heat is an asset? Rarely, is my core cold. I am thankful
about staying warm easily, except . . . desert summer temps are brutally hot.
Sleep is necessary for balance. High energy requires adequate rest.

The new single " He Does it for the Dogs " is selling.
I am happy about our production ,  and overall outcome regarding this song,
including the light atmosphere's presence aurally.

LK and I are continuing the long distance  studio stuff.
Currently , the addition of a new " sonic color" on our song
"Soldier for Your Life" is working.  My good friend John Higgins,
performed brilliantly on lap steel guitar, providing subtle layers
of sound. This song is almost ready for a final studio mix .

This is the first single from the upcoming EP.
There are many more song  projects awaiting attention, before the
final mastering is completed / and the album art designed /

I am happy to report that the first single from the new record is now available for

The song is a swing folk jazz inspired number featuring my good friend and masterful
trumpet player extraordinaire  Mr. Max Crawford.  Bassist and music producer
Larry Kornfeld recorded his upright bass perfectly to give the tune warmth : creating
a mellow groove throughout this new song.

Currently production regarding the completion of our mini album remains on hold.
I will post  more news as things develop in the weeks ahead.

I am beginning to get into gear for our next series of recording adventures.
LK , my working partner and fellow ' mongomon ' is starting to work on our new
songs and the energy is apparent to me during sessions. We both have the luxury of time at
present to dig in on the project that we plan to finish during this coming spring.

This opportunity is a blessing and the timing is good for the entire project to be our best
work to date.  It will feel great to have final mixes shipped off to be mastered in LA,
so until then, I will use my creative talents in bringing to you high quality songwriting / production
and engineering in an honest and straight forward style.
